Preparing, Attracting & Retaining a Mining Workforce

We had a great conversation about the future of education and the workforce with Stephen Gravel. He shares what he and his team have been up to and what we can expect in the near future. “It used to be enough that it (mining) was a high paying job…now we are seeing that it also has to be interesting.” Stephen Gravel is Manager for the Centre for Smart Mining at Cambrian College and he joins Change Itself for a very interesting discussion about what the next generation of the mining workforce is looking for when choosing a job.
